Teaching Philosophy
Every student brings a unique approach to the drums. Whether they are a beginner, self-taught, or have taken lessons in the past, my priority is understanding each student’s individual goals and musical interests.
I believe students learn best when they feel excited and motivated to come to their lessons each week. By celebrating progress and offering clear, constructive feedback, I create a supportive environment that encourages growth and confidence.
My ultimate goal is for every student to leave each lesson with a clear sense of direction. I make sure they fully understand what we’ve worked on and have achievable goals to focus on before our next session.
Testimonials
“We have been students of Adam for well over a year now, and could not be happier. He is incredibly talented and knowledgeable, and a great instructor. We have seen our child not only learn a lot about performance and percussion in general, but also gain a lot of self confidence in the process. Truly - Adam is the best of the best!”

“I can feel my creativity and timing improve as I work with Adam. The lessons he is teaching me are transferring into my band and helping us have a more complete sound. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Adam’s help and I am super excited to work with him in the future!”
-Hudson S.
“Oliver absolutely loves his drum lessons with Adam. Adam is both structured and fun, helping Oliver stay engaged while gaining new skills at a steady pace. We’ve noticed great improvement in his confidence and abilities at home.”
